GABY BORRAYO

Gaby Borrayo is Guatemalan Pole Athlete. She had a small interaction with gymnastics at the age of 8, and although she only had one year of classes, the passion for this sport accompanied her throughout her childhood. At the age of 22 without looking for it, pole appeared and she took her first class no idea what to expect, it was like love at first sight. As in many Latin countries, the preparation and the technique in the classes were not ideal, but this made her look beyond her borders, to improve herself in this sport and not feel the frustration she felt as a child when she had to give up gymnastics. Although she has taken many pole classes with top pole athletes and had certified herself outside of Guatemala, her training and her style have been obtained in a self-taught way, she took what she enjoyed the most about the sport and turned it into her own, which led her to create a unique style. Behind each class there is a lot of love and research to transmit a unique experience.
