Flexibility

  • Flexibility class (Upper Body) is a Conditioning and Stretching class that teaches you proper breathing and safety techniques to strengthen your shoulders and joints while enhancing your mobility and flexibility. With the combination of activating exercises, static and active stretches, you will increase the ability to perform functional movement, have a healthier posture, and translate it to your pole and aerial dance practice, or simply have a healthier life. There will be a focus on maintaining strength and alignment in poses, lifts, holds, and deep stretches. Using tools such as yoga blocks, straps, sliders, and partners, you will develop body awareness through muscular activation and proper alignment while safely and gradually increasing your body’s range of motion.

With the combination of activating exercises, static and active stretches, you will increase the ability to perform functional movement, have a healthier posture, and translate it to your pole and aerial dance practice, or simply have a healthier life. There will be a focus on maintaining strength and alignment in poses, lifts, holds, and deep stretches.
